While the teacher points out the ancient stone arches, the children will find themselves distracted by faint music and a mysterious voice. High up in the minsterls’ gallery, a most gorgeously clad and spot-lit figure will appear – immediately recognisable to children the world over.
He will tell the children a little about himself – including the 1600 year old story of kind-hearted Nicholas, throwing gold coins into the houses of poor children to save them from slavery.
This will all take place in St John’s Church, which is just a short walk up the Hayes. Just tell us when you book if you would like to go and we will give you a time.
It will be a wonderful 10 minutes with the Man in Red…
