All Things Considered – “Gold, Frankenstein & Mirror”
In December 2010, All Things Considered on BBC Radio Wales told the story of the pioneering ‘Christmas – The Story’. Despite arctic weather, it was presented up to eleven times a day for two and a half weeks – an amazing 180 performances. Thousands turned up to see it, and the run was so successful that it’s returned every year since! ‘Christmas – The Story’ brought together more than 150 actors and supporting volunteers from churches across the capital, and All Things Considered followed its progress over 14 months through the eyes of the person who had the original idea, Sally Humble-Jackson.
The programme won best Christmas programme at The Jerusalem Awards 2011. Pictured above (left to right) Sally Humble-Jackson, Roy Jenkins and Karen Walker collecting the award.
